Our group in Japan 2007
Our 2007 trip to Japan - About half the class went this time and we spent about three weeks. Here is a picture of most of us with Nagato sensei. Our group takes yearly trips to Japan to study with Dr. Hatsumi Masaaki and the shihan under him.

We are the Bellaire Bujinkan Dojo in Houston, Texas. We study the art of Ninjutsu as taught by Dr. Maasaki Hatsumi.

We are serious about the art, but have fun while training. Many of our regulars have been at the dojo for at least five years. The head instructor, Brian Tritico, is a Judan (10th degree black belt) and has been training about 20 years now. We travel back to Japan regularly to continue expanding our knowledge about the art.

There are nine schools that comprise the art of Ninjutsu, these are:

  • Togakure Ryu Ninjutsu
  • Gyokko Ryu Koshijutsu
  • Koto Ryu Koppojutsu
  • Tagaki Yoshin Ryu Jutaijutsu
  • Kukishinden Ryu Happo Hikenjutsu
  • Shinden Fudo Ryu Dakentaijutsu
  • Gikan Ryu Koppojutsu
  • Kumogakure Ryu Ninpo
  • Gyokushin Ryu Ninpo
